What is TS007 3 Star Security?
TS007 was a standard that was introduced because of a collaboration between The Door & Hardware Federation and The Glass and Glazing Federation. The standard allows for cylinders to be designated as either 1* or 3*, depending on which standards they achieved.
A 3* cylinder provides the highest level of security, under TS007, without the need for additional security hardware or handles.
3 STAR CYLINDER FEATURES:
Door security that meets a 3 Star security rating will provide maximum security from all known methods of forced entry, including
- Drilling
- Picking
- Bumping
- Snapping
- Plug Extraction (Pulling)
The simplest way of reaching 3 star security is by installing a 3 Star BSI Kitemarked Cylinder.
